THEORY vs PRACTICALITY

December 01, 2009
Early in life I learned that a good standardized method does not always solve everything. The standardized method (textbook, school, way, recipe, etc.) is a beginning, not an end. No matter how you use a method, don't use it on the assumption that your way is better than someone else's. Otherwise people will follow a recipe, and forget to taste the food.
