Tarek Mahanna – A Voice For The Oppressed, Silenced

May 14, 2012

Monday 20120514 – In one of the most blatant violations of the First Amendment?s guarantee of free speech, Tarek Mehanna, an American Muslim, was convicted in a federal court in Boston, USA and then sentenced to 17 years in prison. His ‘crimes’ you may ask? He was found guilty of supporting ‘Al Qaeda’ (by virtue of translating documents into English and expressing ‘sympathetic views’ of victims of US terror.  Also, for his vociferous disapproval and condemnation of the Invaders of Muslim lands, the U.S. Army, and their war crimes.  It?s certainly no surprise that, in this climate of tyrannical reign, Muslims are prosecuted for their criticism of the tyrannical regimes, their inhumane activities and obvious double-standards.  I urge you to take a listen to Tarek’s speech in this podcast, which he delivered at his sentencing hearing, or obtain a transcript thereof.  This amazing and heart-wrenching speech, courtesy of brother Ejaz Khan, is sure to resound and echo for years to come…
