Tuesday 20130122 – The Salaah, as Shk Zikrullah Khan explained, is a medium to seek forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala for our shortcomings. The Salaah is to implore Allah Ta’ala to reform us. The Salaah is to petition Allah Ta’ala to guide us.
Shk Zikrullah mentioned that Salaah is the Connection to our Rabb, Lord of the Worlds and the Way of our master and leader Muhammad Sallallahu`Alayhi Wa Sallam. Why do many Muslims, who, despite testifying that there is None Worthy of Worship but Allah and that Muhammad Sallallahu`Alayhi Wa Sallam is the Final Messenger of Allah, still discard Salaah?
Furthermore, Shk Zikrullah mentioned that those who are fortunate enough to pray Salaah, should strive to improve the condition of their Salaah. Rasulullah Sallallahu`Alayhi Wa Sallam, in a Hadith, said to the effect that the worst thief is he who steals in his Salaah.
