Radio Islam spoke to Hafez Moorad Booley of NIHT on the possibility of Haraam meat been on Promotion under NIHT supervision at the Pick n Pay Trade Route Mall. We also had a caller who took the matter further, and then Had Pick n Pay’s Anil Govichand who confirmed the callers worst concern was true,then apologized for the harm done to those who had consumed the Haraam meat. It was established that some of the meat was brought from Pick n Pay Princess Crossing, which does not stock Halaal meat.
