South African activist for Palestine Ismail Moola spoke to Radio Islam LIVE from Greece this morning about the Freedom Flotilla as all ports lead to Gaza, In-Shaa Allah.

Speaking to Mufti Yusuf Moosagie, he was cautiously optimistic.

“Momentum is at its peak as all the activist are streaming in from all over.”

Efforts to sail into Gaza have always been scuppered by the Israeli forces.

“Maybe on this our third attempt we will be successful to break the siege of Gaza by Sea.”

Moola added that due to past difficulties , the planning this time around has been extra meticulous.

“Boats are in different locations, we won’t be divulging all locations, Marianne is already making its way towards Gaza, The other 4 boats will meet up in 48 Hours.”

Activist Clint De Bruyns is South Africa’s representative on the Freedom Flotilla. 

The Freedom Flotilla has members from 25 countries, most of whom arrived in the last 24 hours and Ismail Moola and others are providing Logistical support for all activists.

“Response we are getting globally is overwhelming.”

Israeli Arab Knesset Member, MK Basel Ghattas has asked Netanyahu to allow the Flotilla safe passage.

“Basel Ghattas is set to to join the Gaza-bound flotilla, and has written to Netanyahu not to activate the IDF, as it is a peaceful action.”

Moola said that the activists were fully aware of the dangers they could face in the coming days.

“We are aware of the risk, Israel has said it will not allow the boats in. 

1.8 Million people in an open air prison, people tend to forget that the occupation is on going. People also think that because it is not on the CNN’s and BBC’s that things are all Rosy again, nothing has changed. With the Mavi Marmara 10 members lost their lives, we know the risks but something has to be done for the People of Gaza.”
