The world’s largest book “This is Mohammad” weighing a whopping 1500kg and the first Arabic book to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records, is currently on display at Al-Hamra Mall in Ras Al-Khaimah.

Measuring five meters in length, eight meters in width and consists of 429 pages; the book sheds light on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), explaining the achievements and positive effects he has had on humans and political areas.

The book is accompanied by a one million signature campaign whereby people of the public can register their signatures, out of love and peace to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

“This is Mohammad” is written by Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Muslih, Saudi author and Secretary General of the Complex for Islamic Fiqh Research in Riyadh, and was edited by Mohamed Saeed Alawlaqi. The project was unveiled by Mshahed International Group in Dubai under sponsorship of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, UAE finance minister and deputy ruler of Dubai.

According to Mshahed International Group, over 50 people took part in the construction of the book that cost around AED 11 million. It also took 16 months to pen and print out around one million copies in four languages, including Braille and is to be printed into Italian and Danish.

A large number of visitors have been capturing memorial photographs with the biggest book. The book was earlier displayed at Ibn Battuta Mall, Al-Ain Mall, Al Mushrif Mall, Global Village and at Al-Arabi Center. The book will be on display at Al-Hamra Mall till the end of June.

Wesam Aldora, manager of Al-Hamra Mall said, “We are ready to provide all available means to support the success of this intellectual message and to reflect the real image and deep meaning of Prophet Muhammad — (PBUH) and to introduce people to the significant role of this Prophet.”
