More than six months after the gruesome murder of Abrar Ahmed Jeebhai, police are no closer in solving the crime.
The body of the 26-year-old Jeebhai was found by a passer-by at the entrance of Lehae near the Golden Highway, south of Johannesburg in August last year after he was initially reported missing.
Jeebhai was a teacher at the Sir John Adamson High School in Winchester Hills.
Since the murder, posts on social media have reportedly indicated that Jeebhai allegedly knew who is attackers were and willingly accompanied them before he was killed.
However the question remains: Who killed Abrar Ahmed Jeebhai?
The police’s Hector Netshivodza is appealing to anyone with information on the murder to come forward or call Crime Stop on 0860010111 or SMS Crime Line on 32211
“As police we are still investigating the case and at this stage nobody has been arrested.”
