Faizel Patel – 02/08/2021

Renowned and esteemed Islamic scholar Ml Sulaiman Moola says as a rule, the deen of Islam impresses upon us to refrain from using others belongings without their permission.

Ml Moola was rendering some spiritual advices in his weekly videos which are widely circulated on social media and other platforms.

Ml Moola raises the question about what would happen in the event where there is a close relationship between people and no formal request is required to use their personal belongings.

“Subhan’Allah there is a beautiful explanation to the permissibility of using such an item when there is implied permission from the verse of the Qur’an and that is the richness and the beauty of the Qur’an.”

Ml Moola says in Juz 27, chapter 52, verse 23 of the holy Qu’an, Allah speaks about the dwellers of Jannah where they are enjoying the bliss of paradise.

“In Bayyanal Qur’an it is written that this ayat releases a hint that it is permissible to access the belonging of another like in Jannah one will take the glass or the goblet or the vessel from the other. It’s permissible to access, to use when you convince knowing that the owner will be happy that you took that item though outwardly he might challenge you and tell you that you took it without his permission.”

Ml Moola says the beauty of Islam is that while there is rigidity in certain aspects, there is also flexibility in other aspects.
