Warning issued as heatwave expected around Gauteng

The South African Weather Service has issued a heatwave warning for Gauteng and surrounding areas over the next few days.

The provinces have already seen a rise in temperatures, averaging around 30°C with very hot conditions expected to persist until Friday.

South African Weather Forecaster Jabulani Moyile says, “High temperatures are expected throughout the week with temperatures ranging between 33 and 36 degrees in the Gauteng region.”
