Police are investigating a case of break-in after criminals broke into the Vodashop at the Trade Route Mall in Lenasia.
It’s understood three suspects chased away cleaners and other people near the Vodashop on Monday before kicking in the glass door to gain entry into the store.
The police’s Hector Netshivodza said: “They managed to take about eight cellphones and ran away. No one has been arrested at this stage yet. The value of the cellphones is estimated at plus or minus R84,000.”
Nethivodza has appealed to anyone with information about the robbery to contact police.
