Viagra Worth More Than R2 Million Seized at OR Tambo International

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has seized 22,800 Viagra tablets worth more than 2 million rand at OR Tambo International Airport.

It’s understood Customs officials and sniffer dogs found the drugs yesterday during a random inspection of consignments from Hong Kong.

Spokesperson Sandile Memela said: “The parcel has since been handed to the port held authority for further handling.”

Memela says no one has been arrested or come forward to claim the parcel.
