Renowned Islamic Scholar Ustadh Wahaj Tarin says Allah mentions in the Qur’an that every soul shall taste death.

Ustadh Tarin who hails from Australia was speaking at Northway Masjid in Durban on Monday.

He is currently on a South African tour with programmes in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

Ustadh Tarin says no one will know when they will die and there is no escaping death.

“Allah has written the amount of time in minutes and seconds that you will have and on this time the time finishes and it will not be extended nor reduced, you will go, when the hour clicks, you will go.”

Ustadh Tarin says people shouldn’t worry about what happened yesterday.

“The only thing you have it today and tomorrow is not guaranteed. So turn for a moment to Allah in sincere repentance and Allah accepts repentance. Allah wants to forgive sins. Allah wants to accept your taubah, that is something that He desires to do. Allah likes forgiving.”

Ustadh Tarin says people who know that they belong to Allah must know that Allah will question them about the life they led on this earth.
