On Monday, a 7.8-magnitude disastrous earthquake devastated southeastern Turkey and northern Syria. As a result, more than 4000 people are currently reported dead, with the figure expected to rise eight-fold. Thousands have been left homeless as hundreds of buildings have collapsed.
The United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA) has thus requested that all Muslims globally make a special dua for all those Brothers and Sisters who were affected. They are urging those who can assist the organisation in working on the ground with various Relief Projects and charitable initiatives.
UUCSA also sends their condolences to all those who have lost their families and loved ones due to the tragedy.
