Umrah Visa Fee Increases

The South African Muslim Travel Association (Samta) has announced the Umrah visa fee has increased by SAR 100.

In a statement, Samta’s Ismail Olla says the fee which equates to about R380 has been increased globally by Saudi authorities.

“All Umrah visa applications made to the Ministry on Thursday 9 May has been granted, from Saturday 11 may when our members received notifications of the additional SAR 100.”

Olla has however indicated that the repeat Umrah visa of SAR 2,000 has remain unchanged and that the organization has been informed of upcoming new rules and regulations for Umrah beginning in the Islamic year 1441.
