March 22, 2018

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 22-03-2018

The South African Muslim Travel Association (Samta) has announced visa services company VFS Tasheel has opened a Durban based office saving pilgrims the time and effort to travel all the way to Johannesburg or Cape Town to capture their biometrics for hajj and Umrah visas.

Saudi Arabian embassies in several countries have started taking biometrics of Umrah visa applicants following a decision by the Saudi government to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims coming to the Kingdom for Haj and Umrah.

Samta has welcomed the opening of the new biometrics office by VFS Tasheel located at:

Unit 106A, 1st Floor
91-123 Problem Mkhize Road (Cowey Road)
Cowie Office Park
Durban

The cost of the biometrics is approximately $4.50 (R65).
