Two Killed in Light Aircraft Crash in Limpopo

Two people have died after a light aircraft crashed at Ashanti Lodge outside Lephalale in Limpopo.

Its understood the gyro helicopter hit a tree yesteday before it fell to the ground and burst into flames.

The police’s Ronel Otto says the exact cause of the crash is being investigated.

“Both men died on the scene. We have registered an inquest docket, but the cause of the accident will be investigated by the the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
