The Technical Director and Co-Founder of Zero Point Energy, Abdul-Khaaliq Mohamed told Radio Islam that there are multiple approaches South Africans can make use of to mitigate the effects of load shedding.
Mohamed says consumers need to assess their houses and look at what the essential load carries before they can move forward.
“You need only a light, maybe an internet connection with WIFI, maybe a fridge, and then those are the things you need to do, changing your electrical board in order to separate your essentials from your non – essentials.”
