Scores of men took part in the 100 men march which is aimed at highlighting the scourge of violence against women & children.
The march is the culmination of a partnership between the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE), the Government Communications and Information Services (GCIS) and various Civil Society and Faith Based Organisations.
Commission for Gender Equality’s Mbuyiselo Botha told Radio Islam that the march is important to combat the fight against women and child abuse.
“The march plays a very important and fundamental role, especially as it is aimed at mobilising, galvanising men in general in our society.”
