The 2023 Africa Travel Indaba kicks off in Durban

The continent’s largest tourism trade exhibition, the 2023 Africa Travel Indaba, kicked off in Durban. Africa’s Travel Indaba is an iconic African leisure trade show owned by South African Tourism, with the specific objective of creating market access for our vast array of African leisure tourism Products. Alan Campbell, Sales and Marketing Director of ANEW Hotels & Resorts spoke to Radio Islam International about the event and the impact on KZN.

According to Campbell, the Indaba is the biggest event of the year for those in the travel sector to collaborate, highlight the country’s destinations, etc., and seek out new technologies and players. He added that the Indaba was a great way to connect Africa, showcase South Africa and other countries.

From Tuesday, 9 May 2023, to Thursday, 11 May 2023, the event will focus on local and international industry members; on Thursday, 11 May, it will be open to the public.
