“Terrorism in South Africa” Claims – Here we Go Again…

February 25, 2015

By Ejaz Khan

First we had the “Terrorism in SA” fear mongering attempts in SA media all those years ago…Thankfully, those stories died a painful death, due to lack of any substance to the claims.

Then they realized that ‘no name brands’ don’t sell too well, so they registered a catchy company name and BOOM! “Alqaeda Mzansi ”was born…

What? Another slow media death? But they have a Name!!! This is blasphemy, this is Madness… this… is… South Africa!

Ah well, back to the drawing board for Hoosen Solomons and crew. (And there’ve been multiple return trips, by the looks of it.)

It is so unbelievable that actually I want to dub these attempts “Essops Fables” – But the chief antagonist is Hoosen Solomons so it doesn’t work so nicely.

A decade has passed, attempt upon attempt have been made to create an atmosphere of pressure on the Muslim community of South Africa. Time and time again, these attempts failed miserably. Alhamdulilah.

Hoosen Solomons, who always seems to pop up in these Islamophobic articles as the primary source, still persists with his unholy mission, hoping that one day it would stick.

He is still waiting for that day to come.

The Boogeyman he had used for so long had grown stale, Al Qaeda was so 2010. In a nutshell, Brand exhaustion of the highest order. He realized this, and, as luck would have it, a new force just popped up from nowhere: “Isis”.

I feel like I’ve seen that name before…but Where??
<<Googles>>
“In Egyptian mythology Isis was the goddess of the sky and nature, the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus. She was originally depicted wearing a throne-shaped headdress, but in later times she was conflated with the goddess Hathor and depicted having the horns of a cow on her head.”

Wow, Islamic fanatics supposedly fighting for ONE GOD choosing a name derived from a Goddess from the era of the Pharoah’s. Makes sense!
Not.

The fear mongering creative minds  must’ve got extra bonuses for this one, surely,  as Solomons skipped away in pure delight as he now had a new toy to play with ( other than our Izzat<Honour and Reputation>>)

And then, just when you thought that they could not stoop any lower, they’ve now “linked” renowned learning institution Darul Uloom Zakariyya, (Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaah) with Iran (Shia)… I kid you not.

Clutching at straws.  Yes indeed an institution that opposes Shia methodology would train up people to fight FOR Iran. You cant make this stuff up ( Media have, though).
Taking the “intelligence” out of intelligence agencies.

Somewhere along the lines its seems the spycables got tangled.

It doesn’t mean that because it appears on Aljazeera that it is the truth.  The aforementioned Islamic Institution has released a statement distancing itself from such allegations and have asked Aljazeera to issue an apology.

We wait with baited breath to see if that will indeed materialize, but like spotting “Majlis” at a chicken franchise, it is highly unlikely.

Nonetheless, The current pressure climate in the last week has been almost relentless in nature, and it begs the question, What Next?
More importantly, Who Next ?
