Police have taken the 37-year-old son of a Lenasia doctor in for questioning following the murder of his father.
Eighty-year-old Abdul Kader Sayed Mia was found murdered at his home on Thursday morning.
It’s understood the domestic worker and local security company S P Security found his body hidden under a car in the garage.
According to police, Mia suffered several wounds including burns to his body.
The police’s Hector Netshivodza says the motive for the murder is being investigated.
“We are going to take the son to the police station for questioning. Our problem now, this boy, we have also found out that he’s under drugs and that he’s been staying here with his father, he’s always assaulting his father and abusing his father.”
