SOMALIA travel Diary of Ml Yusuf Omar, O Somalia

October 04, 2011

2011-10-04

Its buildings covered with bullet scars
For a reminder of what was

Its roads dusty with bloodshed soil
To spark a memory of that heartbreaking toil

Its people live in fear and pain
Puzzled and wondering when will it rain

Its mothers due to malnutrition dies
Their babies in confusion cries

But Somalia’s hearts holds onto  a rope
That gives me the impression they will never lose hope

Their content faces puts forth a smile
The warmth of which is felt from a mile

Never lose hope, never cry never fear
O Somalia help is near

Never despondent on the ground should you just lay

O Somalia the rains are not far away
