October 27, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 27-10-2017

The SA Weather Service has warned of severe storms over Gauteng and Highveld areas of Mpumalanga as well as south-western and southern parts of Limpopo province.

The forecaster says heavy downpours as well as strong gusty winds are expected in these areas, which may result in instances of urban flooding.

It says whilst hail may occur, such occurrences are expected to cause damages.

“Severe storms, with a risk of heavy downpours as well as strong gusty winds and hail which may also be damaging in some places are expected over Gauteng.”

The weather service says significantly cooler conditions can also be expected in Gauteng from Friday to the weekend.
