Saudi Arabian Embassy Wishes Hujjajj Well Over the Hajj Season

The Saudi Arabian Embassy has wished all South Africans who are performing hajj well over the hajj season. 

About four thousand accredited South Africans and hundreds of others on Mujamala (courtesy) visas have descended on the holy lands of Makkah and Medina ahead of the hajj. 

Other Hujjaj include about twenty South Africans invited by King Salman to be part of the Guests of the Programme of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques. 

The last flight out of South Africa for Hajj is expected to depart on Monday. 

The Saudi Arabian Embassy’s Ali Al Shehri has expressed is well wishes to all Muslims performing hajj this year.

“This year we reached more than four thousand hajj visas Alhamdulillah. We wish everyone Insh’Allah Hajj Mabroor and Insha’Allah they will have a safe and pleasant and journey Insha’Allah.”

Sheikh Omar Al-Ahmad from the Saudi Arabian religious attaché has also wished hujjaj well and says there are number of people in the kingdom to assist them. 

“If they face any difficulty, they have Ulama there, don’t hesitate to ask them for anything you need and they will be happy to assist.” 

The 2019/1440 annual hajj starts on the 9th of August and concludes on the 15th – The blessed day of Eid-ul-Adha in South Africa will be celebrated on Monday the 12th of August.
