Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 10-01-2018

Flash memory manufacturer SanDisk has unveiled the world’s smallest 1TB and 256GB USB flash drives at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES2018) in Las Vegas in the US.

The 1TB device uses a USB Type-C connection and looks like a typical flash drive while the 256GB SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive uses a common USB Type-A connector and can add storage to your computing device.

SanDisk which is owned by Western Digital says the Ultra Fit flash drives feature read speeds of up to 130MB/s and are up to 15 times faster than standard USB 2.0 drives.

The 1TB device is just a prototype with no price or release date announced.
