Samsung Unveils Triple Camera A7 Mobile Phone

Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy A7 with a rear triple camera.

The A7 boasts an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide f2.4 lens (the field of view is 120°). Next there’s a 24MP + 5MP combo (f1.7 and f2.2 respectively), which allows for Samsung’s Live Focus feature.

The front facing camera is 24MP, has an adjustable LED flash, and also supports Samsung’s AR emoji feature that lets users create animated versions of themselves to send as stills or GIFs.

The device run Android 8.0 (Oreo) and has 64GB of storage (expandable via microUSB by up to an additional 512GB), 4GB or RAM and a 3,300mAh battery.

Featuring a premium 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy A7 also supports Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology.

The A7 also has a side fingerprint sensor for convenience and is available in four colours, blue, black, gold and pink.

The Galaxy A7 will be available locally in November for R8,499
