SA Youngster to Compete in King Abdul Aziz Qur’an Finals in Makkah

A South African Hafez of the Qur’an and the 1437/2016 winner of the South African National Quran Competition (SANQC) will be competing in the 38th King Abdul Aziz International Qur’an Memorization finals to be held in the Haram in Makkah Saudi Arabia.

Hafiz Muhammad Abdul Aziz departed for Saudi Arabia this morning.

The competition is expected to commence on Saturday.

SANQC’s Moulana Sulaiman Patel said: “On behalf of the South African National Qur’an Committee we would like to wish Hafez Muhammad Abdul Aziz all the best in the Quran competition in Makkah. May Allah grant him all the success ameen.”
