Rooster for a hero!

They will cut their hands and make it bleed,
All for a musician who, himself is in need!
They will cry for a foul-mouthed car show host,
Whose arrogance has lost him his prime post!

They will swoon over some girly boy prancing in front,
Who does silly, stupid things as a new publicity stunt!
They look for heroes and role models in people who are lost,
Aping and following every move, no matter what it cost!

Sometimes, it is a rooster’s hairstyle, sometimes, it is armpit hair,
Sometimes it is tattoo, and sometimes it is showing off underwear!
This is a sure sign of people going round the sanity bend,
And they comfort themselves calling it the latest trend!

How fortunate are those who are guided by Our Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam and His Companions RA, Guiding Stars, shining through and through,
For not only are they being guided by genuine heroes, but they themselves become genuine heroes and role models too!
