Reward for Gupta Brothers Arrest Raised to R1 Million

February 17, 2018

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 17-02-2018

Following the Hawks declaring Ajay Gupta a fugitive from justice after he failed to hand himself over to authorities, a bounty has been placed for his capture including his brothers Atul and Rajesh (Tony) Gupta and former President Jacob Zuma’s son Duduzane.

Private forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan has offered a R200‚000 reward for Ajay’s arrest and an additional R300‚000 reward for the capture of Atul, Rajesh and Duduzane.

Given the urgency of getting the Gupta brother’s and Duduzane to face justice, the bounty for the men who are currently on the run has been raised to R 1 million.

Multi-billionaire South African businesswoman Magda Wierzycka has upped the offer by an additional R500‚000 calling for the arrests of the men.

Wierzycka made the offer in a Twitter post saying she would match O’ Sullivans reward “Rand for Rand”.

“I am willing to match the reward Rand for Rand.  So now we have R1 million in the pool.  South Africans, contribute your spy skills. We need these crooks in jail where they belong. As soon as possible.”

Gupta was due to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court along with eight others in relation to an ongoing investigation over the R220-million Estina Dairy farm scandal in Vrede in the Free State but he failed to do so.
