The National Coronavirus Command Council is set to meet on Wednesday morning, as the country’s death toll exceeds the 30 000 mark.
The meeting implies that we can expect a Presidential address on the Covid-19 lockdown towards the end of the week.
While the NCCC was only expected to meet next week, News24 was informed by spokesperson Phumla Williams that the meeting could be called sooner to address major developments as they happen.
