President Cyril Ramaphosa says service delivery has been failing in many areas across South Africa and has promised to fix the problems.
Ramaphosa was speaking at the African National Congress’ (ANC) Siyanqoba at the Sandton Convention Centre on Thursday night.
He says the ANC doesn’t want to take South Africans for granted and squander the confidence and hope citizens have in the party.
Ramaphosa says people have faith in the ANC to fix the problems in South Africa.
“We’ve been saying, ‘mama, baba and my sister and brother, we are going to fix them’, because I am clear about this. After the 8th of May, playtime is over, now is time for work.”
Ramaphosa says the ANC is going to be much more focused and reduced the regulatory burden facing South Africans.
