Radio Islam Scoops Two at the 2015 PMR Awards

Radio Islam International won one Silver and Diamond Arrow Award at the Professional Management Review (PMR) Awards held at the Houghton Golf Country Club today, in the category for Leaders and Achievers.

The organisation came 1st overall in the Award for Muslim owned companies and institutions doing the most in their sectors over the past 12 months to stimulate the economic growth and development in Gauteng.

 “Alhamdulillah Radio Islam has once again excelled and done well this past year and this is bourn from the PMR awards, we are truly honoured to receive this award,” said Radio Islam Internationals Public Relations and Compliance Officer Ismail Suliman Variava.

 “For Radio Islam to be recognized at these awards set a benchmark for the industry and a goal for others to aspire to, it is an indication of the confidence placed in Radio Islam and the faith listeners have on radio Islam as a brand and shows that the station is moving in the right direction.” Said Variava

The PMR Awards aim to honour and applaud businesses, institutions, organisations, cities and towns, and individuals perceived as leaders, achievers and role models of the City of Johannesburg.

The awards are based on extensive customer research that measures service and customer satisfaction.

This year’s awards were based on the findings of research based on a sample of 160 respondents which included CEO’s, MD’s, business owners, company directors, managers and senior government officials residing in the City of Johannesburg.

The Diamond Arrow is the ultimate award and is given to organisation which are ranked first overall and rated at least 4.10 out of 5.00 from the survey.
