As South Africa battles the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of prominent and esteemed Ulama have acknowledged the selfless services of medical fraternities & burial societies.
Essential workers have put their lives and the lives of their families on the line to assist and perform their duties with dedication during a very difficult time in our country and across the globe.
The Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc across the globe infecting more than eighty million people and claiming almost two million lives.
The Ulama including Mufti Ismail Menk, Ml Zain Khumalo, Ml Ahmed Akoo, Ml Ebrahim Bham, Ml Abdul Khaliq Ali, Ml Muhammad Vanker, Ml Suliaman Moola, Ml Sulaiman Ravat & Ml Tahir Salloo expressed their gratitude to essential workers.
The Ulama say they acknowledge the efforts of the essential workers.
“To all our heroes, to all those who sacrifice their time and lives for others, to all the doctors, nurses and medical personnel, to all our burial teams”

Mufti Menk: “We the Ummah acknowledge and appreciate your effort.”
Ml Tahir Salloo: “Your late nights, your fatigue, your efforts, your prayers and your care don’t go unseen.”
Ml Allie: “Allah is in the assistance of a servant as long as that servant is in the assistance of his fellow brother.”
Ml Moola: “May Allah answer all the whispers of your heart and reward you on behalf of the Ummah and may he take care of every need of yours as you have responded to the needs of his servants.”
Ml Bham: “May Allah remove this virus from this Ummah, humanity and bring ease to the world.”
Ml Khumalo: “May Allah grant cure to all those who are ill.”
Ml Akoo: “May Allahy grant Jannah and forgiveness to all those who have passed on.”
Ml Ravat: “May Allah make it easy upon all those who have lost closed ones.”
