Police in Polokwane have launched a manhunt for the suspects involved in the kidnapping and murder of a man believed to be the father of the second wife of double murder accused Rameez Patel in the Sterpark suburb of Polokwane.
Its understood Yunus Mayet who is in his 40’s and his family were returning home from the Mall yesterday when they were held at gunpoint by 3 unknown suspects.
Police say the suspects fired shots randomly in the house, took Mayet and drove away with him.
Mayet was found lying dead along the Silicon road next to the airport with bullets wounds on his body.
The police’s Moatshe Ngoepe says they are investigating a case of kidnapping and murder.
“Soon after they arrived at home they were held at gunpoint and the suspects fired shots in the house and subsequently they stole cellphones, cash and so forth. They ended up now going with the deceased until he was found lying dead next to Silicon Road.”|
Ngoepe has urged anyone with information about the suspects involved in this matter to contact the police.
