January 30, 2017

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 30-01-2017

Lenasia police have confirmed that no case of kidnapping has been lodged for an 18-year old teen that has been reported missing.

According to the teens father Muhammad (Max) Ismail, his daughter Nasmeera was apparently abducted on Saturday after she went to buy bread from a local shop.

An emotional Muhammad told Radio Islam his daughter was allegedly pushed at the back of a blue Toyota Tazz and begged for the 18-year-olds return.

Radio Islam urged the father to notify the authorities, but the police’s Hector Netshivodza says no such case has been reported.

“Unfortunately to us it was not reported like that. We don’t have anything regarding the pushing of the girl inside the car. We only have the report of the missing child whose 18-years-old.”

Netshivodza has appealed to anyone who know the whereabouts of Nasmeera to come forward.
