Pharmacy Student Found Murdered in Lenasia

A-23-year-old woman has been murdered in Lenasia extension 3.

Its understood the final year pharmacy student’s body was found by her mother yesterday.

The police John Serala say they are investigating a case of murder.

“On arrival we found a 23-year-old female in her bedroom with her hands tied to her back and mouth closed with sellotape and she was blindfolded. She was lying on the bed with two bullet wounds to the head. She was certified dead on the scene.”

Serala says there were no signs  of any forced entry into the home.

“The motive for the murder is still unknown and further investigations will be conducted. No arrests have been made.”

Police have appealed to anyone with information to come forward that my lead to the arrests of the suspect/s.
