We all remember the Nokia 3310 and some might have even called it a brick back in the day, but seventeen years after it was originally launched, the 3310 is making a comeback.
The 3310 was first released in 2000 and it quickly gained popularity for its days-long battery life, nearly indestructible build and durability and the classic game Snake.
The Nokia 3310 will reportedly re-launch at the Mobile World Congress on 26 February
Still with its classic 14mm thick colourful design, the new Nokia 3310 is updated for modern consumers with a number of extra features.
Video footage released by Concept Creator has shown off a first look at how the Nokia 3310 may look upon its release.
The video shows an all-new Nokia 3310 that has received a major technological and hardware boost, but keeps much of the original’s iconic design.

It’s estimated that the new version of the Nokia 3310 is expected to set customers back some €59 (about R822).
There is no indication when the Nokia 3310 might be available to consumers in South Africa.
