No Arrests Yet following Murder of Abrar Ahmed Jeebhai

Police are continuing their search for suspects involved in the murder of a Lenasia teacher.

The body of 26-year-old Abrar Ahmed Jeebhai was found by a passer-by at the entrance of Lehae near the Golden Highway, south of Johannesburg last month.

Jeebhai who was a teacher at the Sir John Adamson High School in Winchester Hills was reported missing when he failed to report for work.

The police’s Hector Netshivodza says they are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s to come forward.

“The situation as this stage is we have launched a manhunt. Nobody has been arrested at this stage and the investigations are continuing.”
