The event will be addressed by the United Democratic Movement’s (UDM) Bantu Holomisa and Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe, who is the chairperson of government’s Inter-Ministerial Committee on Nelson Mandela’s Centenary.

Freedom Park will also remember Madiba’s legacy of peace and nation building by hosting a reconciliation interfaith prayer and human chain event today. The objective of the event is to encourage individuals and communities to take responsibility for peace and unity.
