Muslims across South Africa have been encouraged to attend the forthcoming national Sahaba (RA) Jalsa.
The fifth annual gathering which was started in 2014 by the Al Farouk Institute takes place from 5 to 10 March 2019 at about three hundred masaajid across the country.
The topics for next year’s Jalsa includes Asadu’Allah (the lion of Allah) Ali (RA) and his wife and the Queen of Jannah Fatima Zahra (RA), the beloved daughter of Nabi Muhammad (SAW).
Speakers at the Jalsa include prominent Islamic scholars including Darul Uloom Zakariyya’s Mufti Radah-ul-Haq and Ml Shabier Saloojee, Radio Islam’s Ml Sulaimaan Ravat and Mufti Yusuf Moosagie amongst others.
The Al Farouk Institutes Naeem Patel has urged Muslims to take advantage of the Islamic gatherings.
“Alhamdulillah, it’s growing throughout the world, this idea that started here in South Africa by the Al Farouk Institute. My message to people is go out there, learn from the authentic Ulama, from the Ulama-e-Haq, and learn your deen directly from them.”
