Mufti Ismail Menk Warns of Fake Social Media Accounts Claiming to be His Profile

Esteemed Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk has urged social media users to take precaution against fake social media accounts purportedly belonging to him.

In an Instagram post, Mufti Menk says “bogus accounts keep popping up” claiming to be the profile of the renowned scholar.

“After some time, they ask for donations. Some people have fallen prey to this.”

Mufti Menk has urged people to report any social media accounts that claim to be his to officials of the site.

Mufti Menk’s Instagram and Twitter accounts including Facebook have been verified by the social media companies with a blue tick, signifying that the account and posts shared on the sites belongs to the esteemed scholar.
