Renowned Islamic scholar Ml Ebrahim Bham says Allah mentions in the fifth Juz of the Qur’an that He would not forgive anyone that associates partners with him.

Ml Bham was rendering the ‘Understanding your Salaah’ programme on Radio Islam on Wednesday as part of its Ramadan focus.

Ml Bham says if there was anyone other than Allah who was worthy of worshipping, it would have been Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He says the Nabi (SAW) did not even allow that for himself never mind anybody else.

“He said no my companions. No, no. Don’t worship me. If perhaps if I would have allowed someone to worship someone, I would have told the wife in loyalty and subservience, worship your husband. I don’t allow it to anyone, it’s only for Allah.”

Ml Bham says the Umah has been amazing, despite all its weaknesses, it has shown love, respect and greatness to the Nabi Muhammad (SAW) that no other Ummah has shown its prophet.

“We have made the Prophet (SAW) the object of our love, the object of our unwavering devotional allegiance. We love him more than what we love our own parents and all of that on its place, but we never made him the object of our worship.”

Ml Bham says the reason for this is that Allah says in Surah Fatiha, “Oh Allah, you alone do we worship,” and without that conviction no Muslim can enter Jannah.
