Misbehaviour During Hajj Would Not Be Tolerated

August 31, 2015

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News, 2015-08-31

Saudi Authorities say that misbehaviour during the 1436/2015 hajj period would not be tolerated.

The Saudi Kingdom is ready with all necessary arrangements to serve hujjaj this year, but any behaviour by the hujjaj against the Shariah or the country’s laws that hampers the Hajj rituals will be dealt with firmly.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sanad, chief of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice) was quoted by local media as saying that the country is honoured by the presence of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi Arabia is following the path established during the reign of its founder, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal.

The Council of Ministers’ meeting on Sunday was attended by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, his deputy Prince Mohammad bin Naif and chairman of the Haj Committee.

Al-Sanad said the vision of Haia (Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice) reflects in its services to the guests of Allah and that the body puts in all efforts in providing field work and educational programs according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). – Agencies
