A man has been found dead in Zakariyya Park, south of Johannesburg.
The police’s Kay Makhubela said the man’s body was found in a veld by a passer-by in the morning.
“We found him half naked, he had only a trouser and socks on.”
Makhubela said there were no visible injuries on the body.
The man is believed to be in his late thirties.
“We have opened an inquest after examining the body. A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
The police have appealed to the public or anyone with information to come forward if they knew the man or reported a missing person.
The investigation is continuing.
