Luxmi Cash & Carry in Lenasia says the store will be closed on Thursday for cleaning, sanitisation and fogging after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, Luxmi says the employees have not  been in the store since Thursday last week.

“We have and are currently enforcing strict screening and prevention protocols with all our staff (including daily temperature testing), and confirm that no other staff members are presenting with any symptoms. We expect to reopen the store on Thursday, 9 July 2020 at 11am.”

Luxmi says all its employees have been educated about COVID19, and know not to attend work and risk the safety of customers and other staff members if they present with any COVID19 related symptoms.
