Load shedding: NEC proposes vital changes to Eskom operations in a bid to deal with crisis

The ANC’s national government committee (NEC) has planned a raft of changes inside the authorities’ regular operating of the poorly state-owned enterprise.

The planned changes form a part of a frantic arrange to address the Eskom crisis that has seen the power utility plunge the state into Stage six blackouts.

According to ANC representative Pule Mabe, the NEC urged the government and Eskom to look into measures like increasing maintenance and raising the provision of existing supply still because of the acquisition of fittingly skilled workers and seasoned mentors in a trial to deal with the present crisis.

Mabe aforementioned, the NEC inspired its government deployees to “facilitate private investment in new generation capacity”.
