The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in South Africa has wished all Muslims in the country a blessed Ramadan.
The great month of Ramadan in South Africa officially starts on Tuesday just after 6pm after the moon was not sighted on Monday.
Saudi Arabian ambassador to South African HE, Sultan al Angari says Ramadan is time for spiritual upliftment.
“On the occasion on the holy month of Ramadan, I wish the Muslim community in the Republic of South Africa and the entire Islamic world a blessed holy month of Ramadan. May Allah the Almighty shower all of us with His blessings and forgiveness and grant us rewards and prosperity and accept our deeds.”
Ramadan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began on Monday with much excitement and anticipation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
