The Gaza Health Ministry says the death toll from the more than two days of Israeli occupation forces attacks in Gaza has risen to 83 including 17 children while 480 others have been wounded.

Israeli fighter jets have attacked high-rise buildings and other targets in the Gaza Strip as Palestinians in the besieged enclave woke up on Thursday to mark Eid al-Fitr religious holiday under relentless aerial bombardment.

The Palestinian resistance has since fired more than sixteen hundred rockets toward Israel.

The escalating fighting between Israel and Gaza’s Hamas rulers has echoed and perhaps even exceeded their devastating 2014 war.

Pressure is mounting on the international community to get involved.

Turkey has lashed out at world powers for condemning the violence in Gaza without acting.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a comment on TRT World, has invited the world and Muslim countries to take action against Israel.

“I invite the entire world especially Muslim countries to take effective action against Israel’s attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem and the home of Palestinians. I am calling on all countries with Muslim populations. As Turkey, we’ve done our part and will continue to do so.”

On Wednesday, Issam Hammad, a social activist based in Gaza told Radio Islam Palestinians are tired of Israeli harassment.
