The Palestine Solidarity Alliance (PSA) says the Zionists in Israel have displayed a level of inhumanity that is indescribable and incomprehensible.

The PSA’s Naazim Adam was speaking to Radio Islam on Monday following the attack on Masjid Al-Aqsa and Palestinians by Israeli occupation forces.

The attack is the latest in days of the worst such disturbances in Jerusalem since 2017, fuelled by a years-long bid by Jewish settlers to take over nearby Palestinian homes in Israeli-annexed east Jerusalem.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been injured in the attack with Israeli soldiers leaving a trail of destruction at Islam’s third holiest site.

Adam says when he saw the images from Al Aqsa this morning, he was horrified by the level of inhumanity.

“I was just shaking and it was just horrifying, the level of inhumanity that the zionists, this entitlement and racism that the state has been afforded by the silence of so many.”

Adam says while Israeli occupation forces have reportedly withdrawn from Masjid al-Aqsa and there is a slight calm, the atmosphere remains volatile.

“The sheikh of the Haram Shareef of Al-Aqsa, there was an attempt to arrest him. They’ve taken the keys away for Masjid Al-Aqsa and this is not the settlers, this is the police and Israeli forces.”

Adam says Muslims must not underestimate what the Zionists are trying to do.

“They want to totally, ethnically cleanse Jerusalem of everyone else besides Jewish settlers. So it’s a programme against the Palestinian people, it’s been ongoing.”

Adam says there’s a whole range of activities that have been planned including a placard demonstrations for the defense of Masjid Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem and support for the Palestinian people.
