The Palestinian Solidarity Alliance (PSA) has urged communities of all faiths to join the organisation in a walk to support the Palestinian struggle.
The 9th Annual “United Against Israel” walk is expected to take place on Sunday morning 14 October from Rose Park in Lenasia in remembrance of anti-Apartheid struggle stalwart Laloo Isu Chiba.
The organisation says it is extremely important to take part in the initiative as it brings into focus the struggle of the Palestinians under the Israeli Apartheid regime.
The PSA’s Dr Yusuf Saloojee says the apartheid against the Palestinians is worse than the apartheid that South Africa experienced.
“Apartheid Israel does things with impunity. They just do what they want to and together with the support of the United States and the so called first world forces, they’ve done nothing to come to the assistance of the people of Palestine. We have to keep the spirit of resistance of the people of Palestine alive.”
